Abstract


Indonesia is a nation, has highest economic growth in ASEAN. However, in electrification ratio growth or ratio about residents who feel electricity from the total population, Indonesia is one of nation has backward level between other ASEAN nations. According to ESDM Ministry data in 2012, Indonesia electrification ratio showed 75.8 %. It means, 24.2 % Indonesia residents have not been able feel electricity. Lombok is an island has lowest electrification ratio 25.6%. By this case, Lombok Island especially Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) often conduct in rolling blackouts (byar pet) till end of 2013. One of way to make increase electrification in Lombok Island by applies green technology.

Arlindo is one of green resource technology energy and be found in Indonesia. Arlindo is an area meeting between two oceans, Pacific and Indian. Effects due to Arlindo is fast flowing ocean currents. Lombok strait that connect between Bali and Lombok Island is one of place that conduct this fast flowing ocean currents (Airlindo).

Ocean current energy utilization is very proper to applies in Rake Wheel Technology. To operate Rake Wheel Technology, need a bridge that can sustain it technology. Other green technology applications to improve the power output are doing combination of Rake Wheel Technology, Vertical Helix Wind Turbine, and Vortex Technology. Vertical Helix Wind Turbine is a technology that able to convert mechanical energy from wind current to electricity energy by trap wind currents from all directions. Vortex is a technology can produce energy from water currents flowing at speeds of less than 2 knots which rely on the vibrations induced vortex (vortex induced vibrations).

(GLAFOR) hybrid bridge is an environmentally friendly bridge material innovation use composite that make from polymer substrate and combine by hybrid energy as a electricity energy resources in Lombok Island. Glass fiber reinforced polymer has more advantages than concrete bridge. GLAFOR is a new technology alternative for electrification ratio improvement in Lombok Island.
