Abstract


At Thailand Research Reactor TRR-1/M1, one of the beam lines is dedicated to neutron radiography. Neutron beam is capable of activating the surrounding materials and causing gamma rays to be emitted, raising safety concerns. The current shielding structure has been in used for a long time and is in need for renovation. For this purpose, mixed concrete with barite is being developed to replace the current walls. In this work, the details of the developed concrete mixtures, including radiation attenuation experiments using 137Cs and 60Co, will be described
