Soliton solution to the nonlinear Schrödinger equation with a power-law potential using He’s semi-inverse method

Abstract
He’s semi-inverse method is used to determine a soliton solution of the nonlinear Schrödinger equation with a power-law potential. This method gives exactly the same results for analytical solutions for a half, quadratic, and quintic nonlinear Schrödinger equations.
