This research is aimed to gather users’ requirements for analyzing, designing and developing a management information system which can manage a national academic conference. A national academic conference has certain steps that one has to follow (according to the kind of conference).  This information system is used to be a data center for users. There are 5 types of users: Administrator, Program Committee, Reviewer, Author and Session Chair. The system is designed to support the whole process of national academic conference. The users can use it to organize the conference, upload papers, review papers, and score the presentation during the conference days.

The system was offered in the form of Software as a Service: SaaS.  In other words, the users don’t have to install any kind of software on their computer. They can access the system by just using their up-to-date web browser. The system was developed using the PHP Framework named YII which is supported by the modern web browsers and MySQL is used for the DBMS.
