Structural Relation of Values in Pursuing Study on Industrial Engineering Programs at Private Vocational Schools in Bangkok, Thailand

ABSTRACT
The objectives were to study of the level of value in pursuing study on industrial engineering programs at private vocational schools in Bangkok, to study the structural relations of values in pursuing study on industrial engineering programs at private vocational schools in Bangkok.
The sample, a Krejcie and Morgan table was obtained, was 376 students out of 15,244 populaces and was selected by stratified random sampling method. The instrument used to collecting the data was a questionnaire with two parts; a check list and a 5-level rating scale questionnaire with reliability of 0.87. Data were analyzed by statistics of frequency, mean, standard deviation, and path analysis.
Results revealed that:
1. The level of value in pursuing study on industrial engineering programs at private vocational schools in Bangkok as a whole was at the high level.
2. The structural relation of values in pursuing study on industrial engineering programs
at private vocational schools in Bangkok, The total effects were demographic to
factor(28%), demographic to value (8%), and factor to value (91%). The direct effects
were demographic to factor (28%), and demographic to value (8%). The indirect effect
was a factor to value (89%).
