Abstract


Researchersare interested to study. The relationship between Happiness  and smoking status. Especially to studies thatsmoking   may  decrese happiness and stopping may increaseit. This point is very important if it is  the  case that smoking  adversely affected  happiness  and that  stopping  would improve it, this may increase  smokers  motivation to stop  and remove this potential barrier to cessation. The Research objectives  to compare the happiness of the Public healthofficials whose smoking status is different  and  analyzethe factors that affect the happiness. ( Who never smoked  Who are trying to quit smoking In thereduction of smoking. Who are smokers and smoking cessation.) The research populationa public health official of the Ministry of Health hospitals in Chonburi totalsample of 4,001 people, 400 people were selected by multistage random sampling(Multi-stage Sampling).Result of research  Happinessof   the  Public health officials  in   hospitalsunder the Ministry of Public Health  Chonburi  Province  in  fourthof  smoking characteristics. Found thatthose who quit smoking now  the averageof the most  happy. Including minor Whonever smoked    Who are trying to quit smoking  In the reduction of smoking. And the averagelow  is  a smoker. And factors association Happiness of Health officials  in hospitals under the Ministry of  Public Health   are as follows:  the relationship of the family (X2)relationship with .128  Career (X3)relationship with .577  as the economic (X4)relationships with .362      society and colleagues (X5) relationship with 0.479health status (X6) relationships with .395  private independent variables (X7) relationshipswith.508, and variable's values ​​(X8) relationships with .504. The statistical significancelevel of .01 each.
