Confirmatory Factors of Public Mind Concerning Art Heritage Conservation Among Rajabhat Universities’ Students in Bangkok Metropolitan

Abstract


The research aimed to survey and examines the fitness of confirmatory factors of art heritage conservation among Rajabhat Universities’ students in Bangkok Metropolitan developed by empirical data.  The tool was 6 level scale totaling 39 items.  Data was collected from 1,904 students of 6 Rajabhat Universities in Bangkok Metropolitan by multiple steps sampling and fit test of construct validity by Exploratory Factors Analysis.

            The research result found that the public mind factors of art heritage conservation consisted of 3 factors with 33 indicators.  The 1st factor was 14 indicators of intention to conserve art heritage, 2nd factor was 12 indicators of duty awareness of art heritage conservation and 3rd factor was 7 indicators of persons’ right respect in art heritage conservation.  It found that the construct validity of public mind concerning art heritage conservation developed by researcher fitted with empirical data at good level with Chi-Square =318.44, df = 281, p-value = 0.062, GFI, AGFI and CFI = 0.99, 0.98 and 1.00 respectively.
